The Swallows at Cowclose Barn is a comfortable and spacious cottage full of character, ideal for families and friends. It is situated next to Cowclose Farm (B & B). Set in a quiet, but not remote location, it enjoys lovely views, particularly towards the Linacre Valley.
The accommodation is for 5 people and comprises:
Downstairs:
Fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, Bosch fridge/freezer, washer/drier and modern units. There is a generous supply of good quality crockery, glasses and cooking equipment.
Lounge has oak beams, a window seat, stone hearth with electric stove, flat screen TV with DVD, radio with CD player, settee and easy chairs, nest of tables.
The dining room is up 2 steps from the lounge. It has an original stone buttress, oak beams, table with 6 chairs.
There is a small single bedroom off the lounge with bed, bedside table and bespoke pine wardrobe. (NB This is not en suite.)
Upstairs:
There is a double bedroom, with bespoke pine dressing table, drawers and small wardrobe. This room has interesting original beams and an en suite bathroom (shower, toilet, washbasin). There is a heated towel rail.
The twin bedroom has beams, bespoke pine dressing table, drawers and wardrobe. There is an en suite bathroom with large shower cubicle with electric shower, toilet and washbasin. There is a heated towel rail.
Full gas central heating and electricity are included in the price. Own parking area (2 cars) Linen, bedding, towels and hairdryers provided. No Smoking One well-behaved dog by prior arrangement.

The fully equipped kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, fridge, separate freezer and modern units. There is a generous supply of good quality crockery, glasses and cooking equipment.
The lounge/diner has an original brick wall with inset oak beam, stone hearth and electric stove, oak beams, flat screen TV and DVD, radio with CD player, a sofa bed, easy chair, pine table and 4 chairs. The freezer is under the stairs.
The large downstairs bathroom has a white suite, with shower over the bath. There is a heated towel rail. The floor is tiled.
Upstairs:
The stairs lead from the lounge to the large bedroom. This carpeted room has original oak beams and a lovely view. There is a double bed, bespoke pine dressing table, drawers and a small built-in wardrobe. TV with CD player. There is space for a guest bed/junior bed/cot.

Orchid Room (£40-£50 prpn inc breakfast) - A comfortable Twin Room with a separate Private Bathroom and lovely view. (Can be let as a Single £35.)
