The Market Place Restaurant, Cromford has been a family run establishment for the last twenty years; customers enjoy delicious food in a relaxing non smoking atmosphere with warm hospitality in one of the most interesting and historic restaurants in the Derbyshire Dales.

It has a lovely Spanish oldie worldy ambience with attractive surroundings making you feel at ease. Richard and Joanne Hancock the owners, offer a wonderful array of mouth-watering A la Carte meals being famous for the sizzling platters.

We also offer outstanding value for money serving a 3 course lunch special including bread and wine for £7.50, evening special for £11.50 not forgetting our Sunday Lunch again £11.50, which all change weekly. Groups of 6 or more can enjoy a bottle of champers and celebration cake when celebrating a birthday/anniversary when dining on the A la Carte menu Tuesday to Thursday with notice.

The restaurant boasts seating of 60 people comfortably so we are able to cope admirably with coach parties and any other special functions. We have the advantage of the Market Place car park in front of the restaurant for easy access.

Cromford a world heritage site nestles between famous Matlock Bath, Bonsall and Wirksworth, also close by is Carsington Water, Cromford Mill, Cromford Meadows and plenty of surrounding beautiful countryside great for walks.
