Accommodation
The Red House Country Hotel based in Matlock, Derbyshire has 10 individually decorated en-suite rooms, some boasting glorious views over the hotel's country gardens and Derwent Valley, the heart of the Peak District National Park.
Three of the hotel's rooms are in the 19th century Coach House next to the main house. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and spacious with two rooms containing four poster beds and one with an antique french bed. All the hotel's rooms are of a high standard and offer facilities including a direct dial telephone, tv and a hospitality tray. All bedrooms are designated non smoking. From January 2005, the hotel will be a no smoking area throughout.
Unwind before your evening meal in our comfortable armchairs. The hotel's sitting room is beautifully decorated, retaining some of its original features, such as the huge fireplace which was built from local Derbyshire stone.
Stroll in the attractive hotel garden and on a warm evening enjoy a pre-dinner drink on the terrace overlooking beautiful views of the Peak District.

The Hotel's restaurant boasts delicious home-made food and is well-known throughout Derbyshire and the Peak District.
Situated within the former drawing room, the hotel's restaurant has an excellent reputation for good food and attracts guests from within Matlock and Derbyshire. Enjoy our delicious home-made meals in the elegant dining room, which looks out over the gardens and Derwent Valley.
In this attractive setting you can enjoy a breakfast at your leisure. In the evening, candlelit tables emphasise the aura of the Victorian setting, whilst you relish the fine culinary skills of our chefs.
Each meal is individually prepared with care and dedication, using fresh herbs and natural seasonal vegetables. There are a wide range of meat, fish and seafood dishes complemented with vegetarian meals. Every taste and diet is catered for.
The hotel's restaurant is fully licensed, stocking a wide range of wines, spirits and beers.
Although we do not insist that gentlemen wear a jacket and tie, we do ask for smart casual dress, i.e. no jeans or trainers.

Our costs for meetings are as follows :-
Daily delegate rate £30 to include morning coffee and biscuits, buffet lunch and afternoon tea and biscuits.
Overnight rate £115 to include the above plus Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.
Mineral water, pens, pads and use of flip-chart or screen are included in the above costs.
